University Counselling Service
You can turn to the University Counselling Service for help when necessary; the service provides psychological counselling through the work of doctors with psychotherapeutic training, coordinated by a supervisor.
The Counselling Service is provided particularly for students in the last two years of high school (orientation), students enrolled in UPO degree courses, postgraduates, doctoral students and researchers, and can be useful for addressing problems related to the university context (study method, study plan, exam preparation, relations with teachers and classmates), anxiety and mood disorders, psychosomatic stress, eating disorders, substance abuse, and psychological distress, in any form.
These difficulties can be addressed with individual interviews, group meetings, orientation counselling and autogenic training.
To find out more about the service, or details of the counsellor offices and contact addresses, consult the dedicated page on the University website.
