Advanced Training Course in Food Law

The Advanced Training Course in Food Law aims to respond to the need for post-graduate specialist training in the complex subject of food law which has long been established as one of the most interesting sectors for professionals (consultants, lawyers, etc.) and businesses, given its extreme complexity and the growing market share conquered by the European food manufacturing sector.

The intersectoral and "multilevel" structure of the regulation of the subject (governed by Italian legislation and the European Union, and transversal to numerous research sectors) entails the need for a study programme which, starting from a general theoretical framework and description of different areas of the subject, describes the main issues of interest: food safety, product quality, labelling and communication, and company responsibility.

The course offers complete and in-depth technical-legal training. Alongside the basic teaching and in-depth analysis of the most topical legal issues, meetings are organised with authoritative personalities from the world of industry and public administration for the sharing of concrete experiences.

Target:  Graduates, food industry technicians, public officials of quality and legislative control, lawyers, business consultants

Structure: 116 hours in total

Teachers: University professors and researchers, lawyers, Ministry officials, Regional and Local Health Authorities

Employment opportunities: career opportunities both as an upgrade and initial entry into the food and pharmaceutical industry; in the Public Administration which carries out supervisory and control activities in the food and beverage sector; in highly specialized professional firms.

Advanced Training Course for Import/Export Personnel

The Advanced Training Course for Import-Export Personnel, within an economic situation that has shown the fundamental importance of transnational economic activities for the national economy, aims to be a joint training opportunity by the University, with its knowhow, and by internationalized companies that have suffered less than others from the difficulties of the market, showing signs of extraordinary entrepreneurial vitality.

This course therefore has a dual important objective:

  • allow students who have recently graduated in Law, Political Science, Economics, Literature etc. to acquire the technical knowledge necessary to enhance their curriculum and participate in the selection of personnel for import-export offices
  • offer the employees already employed in these structures, as well as professionals of the sector, an opportunity to meet and discuss with the expert teachers of the public bodies involved in customs operations, customs officers, freight forwarders and entrepreneurs, who all offer their significant experience in the field.

All this takes place within an important geographical context: provincial, on one hand, with the excellence of the Valenza tradition in the goldsmith sector, and regional, on the other, with Piedmont presenting itself as one of the Italian regions with the greatest production in the food sector, the driving force of our economy worldwide.

For 2017, the course was provided exclusively in STREAMING ON DEMAND mode.

Advanced Training Course in Organisation, Management and Recruitment of Human Resources (MAPE) - 2017

At Uniastiss (AT)

Course leader: Prof.ssa Fabrizia Santini

Course Council: Prof.ssa Fabrizia SantiniProf. Marco NovareseProf. Claudio Giovanni Cortese

In the current economic and market scenario, human resources represent the main source of a company's competitive advantage. It thus becomes essential for all companies to select, evaluate and manage resources effectively, with the support of trained and specialised professionals.

The Advanced Training Course in Organization, Management and Recruitment of Human Resources aims to meet the request for specialized training for professionals already operating in the sector, who are interested in the strategies and policies of development, management, evaluation and training of human resources.

The professional figure that is being formed thus becomes expendable in different work contexts, from companies to consulting firms, in the private and public systems.

Starting from the concept of Business Organisation (module I), a necessary premise to understand the company context from a structural point of view, the course will address topics concerning the Recruitment Process (module II) such as the differences between various recruitment channels, evaluation of the C.V. and conducting an individual interview, the Assessment Centre and communication. Finally, within the broader topic of human resource management (module III), the performance, and potential evaluation and development system will be addressed; the techniques for setting up an effective remuneration policy and introducing related incentive systems; corporate welfare practices to guarantee work well-being.

The methodological approach, without neglecting the theoretical aspect, thanks to the small size of the class (maximum 30 participants) is purely operational: numerous exercises and role playing will transform the classroom experience into a practical moment of professional and corporate life.

The course includes three modules for a total duration of 60 hours of interactive frontal teaching.

At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued to those who have attended at least 80% of the lessons (12 lessons).

Participation in the Advanced Training Course will be valid for the purposes of Compulsory Continuing Education for a total of 60 training credits.

Registration must be made by 10.03.2017.

The registration fee is 500 euros. Entries will be accepted according to chronological order of submission until a maximum of 30 participants is reached. Priority in access to the course is guaranteed to those enrolled in the Association of Labour Consultants.
